Calling itself “The Official Website of the Republic of Korea”, this
site contains a huge amount of English information about Korea. The Directory
section is particularly useful, with organized categories of links to hundreds
of English-language websites. Korea.net is an excellent starting point for all
things Korea.

Non-Koreans wishing to learn about government services available
to foreigners should not miss this site. With information
covering everything from employment and investment to
marriage and immigration, Hi Korea is a site worthy of
bookmarking.

This useful site by KOTRA is an excellent resource for business
in Korea. In addition to investment opportunities, Invest
Korea also provides useful information and tips about
doing business and living in Korea.

SeriWorld provides high-level business analysis from the leading economic research
institute in Korea. The registration process to read the articles is free.

Korea Trade Investment Promotion Agency (http://english.kotra.or.kr)
KOTRA has long been the face of Korean business to the world, with offices around
the world. Established for the purpose of promoting Korean exports, businesspeople
wishing to buy products from Korea should start here. The site is constantly
updated with the latest products from Korean companies, as well as exhibitions
in Korea. KOTRA also sponsors another site at www.buykorea.org,
which serves as a global e-trade portal.

Incheon International Airport (www.airport.kr/eng)
The first port of all for nearly every visitor to Korea is
Incheon International Airport, located on an island about
30km to the west of Incheon. The site is organized with
useful information for visitors and an Airport Guide
file in PDF format is available for free download. Be
sure to print and carry this with you on your trip to
Korea.

Seoul City Government (english.seoul.go.kr)
This is the city’s main government website for foreigners. Visitors can
find information about the latest events in the city, as well as sections on
recreation, business and life in Seoul. The moving banner at the bottom of the
home page contains links to many of the other websites published by the city,
including a collection of live webcams, information about the Seoul Convention
and Visitors Bureau, as well as Cheonggyecheon park.

The slogan of Korea is “Korea Sparkling” and
this site explains all the reasons why. Even if visiting
on business, consider taking some extra time to see all the
beauty that Korea has to offer. From a day of touring around
Seoul and enjoying the local cuisine, to an overnight stay
at a Buddhist temple in the mountains, or even a short ocean
cruise or ski package, you’ll find that Korea is more
than just business!

This site by the Seoul city government focuses on business in
Korea, but also contains links to some great resources, including
free downloads of maps of Seoul and the bus and subway systems.
With a communications board and other useful information about
upcoming events in the city, the site is a worth an online
visit. Another city site that may be of interest for its focus
on small and medium-sized companies is Small Business Agency
at http://sba.seoul.kr/eng.
US Commercial Service (www.buyusa.gov/korea/en)
Long an advocate for US exporters around the world, the US Commercial
Service offers services and other trade information through US
embassies around the world. The service in Korea is no exception
and worth a visit for US companies seeking to export to Korea.
