Rates for Korean Translation

Language translation is a very precise process, depending on many different factors to make it work right.  As such, pricing of language translation depends on many of these same factors, such as document length, translation direction, content type, your required timetable, quality of original document, and other formatting and typesetting concerns.

Please understand that we cannot provide a fixed quote on a document that we have not seen. Therefore, we request that you email or fax your file to us when inquiring. If you are unable to do this because of confidentiality issues, please be detailed in your project specifications so we can quote within a price range. We will also be glad to sign your confidentiality agreement in advance of receiving your document.

Includes set-up costs and translation by expert translator fluent in Korean and English.

English to Korean Translation

Includes set-up costs and translation by expert translator fluent in Korean and English.  This service also includes proofreading by two professional linguists.  This process always includes both the initial translation by a first linguist and an additional word-for-word proofreading step by a second translator in order to provide you with the very highest output quality.

Special Pricing

Translation of Ongoing Business Correspondence

For translation of back-and-forth emails/faxes with your contacts in Korea, we reduce our minimum rate way down and charge a flat rate of around $.24/English word (with a $30 minimum charge per request) on a retainer basis. Simply pay $95 to open your account with us and we'll handle the work as it comes in with overnight delivery guaranteed for documents under 200 words. Once your account balance falls to $25, we'll ask you to add another $65 and so on. At the end of your project, we’ll refund the unused balance in full.

Translation of Korean Family Registers

Korean Consulting and Translation Service, Inc. has translated hundreds of Korean family registers into English for US immigration and visa applications. Our flat rate for the new computer-generated forms is $45/page. For certification, notarization and mailed hardcopy, add $40.

Payment Terms

If you are a company registered with Dun & Bradstreet, our terms are net 30 days with a company purchase order. If you are not registered, you can conveniently pay in advance by check, bank transfer or by credit card through the PayPal button on our web site.
